We’re Extending the Clear IP Idea Score Challenge!

One week ago at Dublin Tech Summit 2025, we launched our Idea Score Challenge, and the response blew us away. Dozens of innovators jumped in, tested out their ideas using our brand-new Idea Score Calculator, and competed for the chance to win a fully-paid USPTO Provisional Patent filing.

So here’s the good news: we’re extending the deadline!

You now have until 5:00 PM IST, Friday, 13th June 2025 to submit your idea and compete for the top spot on the leaderboard.

What’s the Idea Score Challenge?

It’s simple:

1. Download the Clear IP App (iOS & Android)

2. Open the Idea Score Calculator

3. Submit your idea name and a brief description

4. Get an instant score based on innovation, potential patentability, and more

5. The highest scoring idea at the end wins a free provisional patent draft & filing

   You can submit as many ideas as you want.

Your Idea is Safe

You don’t need to share the full idea. The calculator only uses your idea name and a short description, and we don’t store or access the contents of your submission. Your intellectual property remains yours.

What’s the Prize?

A USPTO Provisional Patent draft and filing—on us.

This gives you:

• 12 months of protection

• The ability to use the term “Patent Pending”

• Time to test, develop, and pitch your idea with official backing

Clear IP will handle the drafting and pay the filing fee for eligible individuals.

Reminder of the Rules

• Deadline: Friday, 13th June 2025 at 5:00 PM IST

• Submissions only accepted through the Clear IP app

• You retain ownership of your idea

• One winner will be selected based on score
